As a school topper, there was a time when I thought I was already equipped with all the answers to my life’s questions. Answers to questions like ‘Which job would get me a better salary in the future?’ or ‘What subjects should I take to get this job?’ Using these answers as my guide, I worked hard to land on my ‘perfect’ version of a job. But for some reason, it never felt right, and I never felt truly happy.
To help me understand why, I decided to take the OIP test with Ta’seel Education Consultancy services, and through their guidance I came to a realization that the problem was not with the way I answered my earlier questions, but that I was asking the wrong questions in the first place. What I should’ve rather asked myself was ‘Which job suits my personality?’ or ‘Which subjects do I like to study?’
